A US-based partner first company simplifying the process for customers to communicate, collaborate and share information is looking for a PowerBI Developer. The developer will join the team in a series of projects concentrating on maintaining legacy reporting initiatives and performing migrations to newer reporting methodologies. The company aids more than 100K businesses to connect in an efficient way through voice, video conferencing, chat, contact center, and several other mediums. This role offers a long-term opportunity for developers to work with an experienced team in building a highly reliable and secure platform. It requires a timezone overlap between GMT-7 to GMT+4.
Job Responsibilities:
Using Power BI desktop, create visual reports, KPI scorecards, and dashboards
Connecting data sources, importing data, and transforming them in preparation for business intelligence
Analytical thinking is required to translate data into informative reports and graphics
Capable of implementing row-level security on data in PowerBI, as well as an understanding of application security layer models
Run DAX queries in PowerBI desktop
Expert in performing advanced-level calculations on a data set
Take charge of the design methodology and project documentation
Create tabular and multidimensional models that are data warehouse compatible
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software developer
Must have expertise in PowerBI, SQL, and ETL
Familiarity with MS SQL Server is nice to have
Knowledge of SQL Server Integration Services is nice to have
Great communication skills
