As People Operations Specialist, you will be part of our growing People Operations Team, a four-people team (including you) based out of Germany, the US and China. Your mission is to focus on the needs of our employees (or as we like to call them, 'Spatialists') and support them through their employee journey. Your work will greatly contribute to our company culture and in ensuring a unique employee experience. You will be joining our Global People & Culture Team working with colleagues from nearly 10 different nationalities who are passionate about people and culture, and about scaling our global set-up to meet our ambitious growth goals. This role is open to both part-timers and full-timers and you can choose to work from our Munich office with a flexible hybrid setup or remotely from anywhere in Germany. We offer full visa and relocation support for international candidates.
You will be the point of contact for our employees and their employment-related questions
You will ensure seamless and compliant people operations covering the entire employee life cycle from onboarding to offboarding. We grow fast, currently 10-15 new people join us every month.
You will manage our HR IS Personio as our single source of truth of employment data
You, with your team, will steer our external payroll providers and own the overall payroll process for Germany, Netherlands and the UK
You will set up People policies and processes that allow effective collaboration in a hybrid working environment
You will have the chance to work with the rest of the People Team on our global expansion and support setting up employment in new countries
Passion and experience in people operations and payroll steering, ideally in an international environment
A team player attitude, empathy and strong communication skills will serve you while collaborating with colleagues throughout the organization
Attention to detail and a pragmatic can-do attitude
A desire to ensure the smooth running of People & Culture operations whilst continuously improving and scaling the setup
Fluent spoken and written skills in German and English
