OPERATIONS SUPPORT SPECIALIST, REMOTE | WORK FROM HOME

The Operations Support Specialist will help establish and build Supplemental Health Care's Managed Services Programs (MSP’s) reputation throughout the market. Responsible for managing the integrity of information throughout the multiple databases within SHC. Responsible for building relationships with internal teams and external contacts to help ensure processes are managed effectively. Play a key role in maintaining information and technology configuration in our multiple Vendor Management Systems. Integral in assisting office staff using the Company's core values of Integrity, Candor, Accountability, Respect and Excellence. Essential Job Functions:

  • Work with MSP Directors and Recruiting Directors with SHC to add Administrative Support

  • Provide technical client support with passion and smile

  • Escalate challenges to appropriate Directors

  • Provide administrative support for MSP Directors as requested

  • Work with VMS Team to assist in getting clients to update VMS sites to ensure correct billing and payment

  • Work directly with interdepartmental managers

  • Accurately review information associated with the VMS

  • Research, dispute and resolve discrepancies within the VMS systems

  • Maintain operational excellence through executing the Supplemental Way

  • Help to create an environment of high morale, motivation and teamwork

  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Skills, Knowledge & Talents:

  • Associates Degree and/or 1-2 years equivalent experience preferred

  • Knowledge of proper grammar, spelling and rules of composition

  • Must have a working knowledge of computer and software systems including Microsoft Office products and the Internet

  • Must be detail-oriented and highly organized

  • Ability to work independently and with other team members

  • Ability to organize and complete work in a timely manner

  • Ability to multi-task

  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization

  • Must be able to work for prolonged periods of sitting, typing and use of the phone and computer

  • Must successfully complete onboarding training/tutorials and attend future webcasts/trainings as required
