As an Operations Analyst, you’ll be a fundamental part of the team which drives the operations for our dark stores within an area. This is a unique role with the opportunity to create genuine impact for the lives of everyday people in our region. We’re looking for someone with a keen eye for understanding the crux of operational challenges, and who is able to quickly and effectively remedy them with structured processes. Our ideal candidate is someone with a strong set of fundamental business skills - analytical ability, business acumen, strong communication, and project management.
What you‘ll do
Operations: Support our day-to-day store operations in partnership with store supervisors and shoppers. Balance your time between behind-the-desk problem solving and strategic thinking, and on-ground operations and problem solving. Be willing to lend an extra hand to the store teams as necessary.
Develop & Optimise Processes: Monitor service experience and health, and in-store operations and challenges, to identify the biggest operational gaps, inefficiencies, and risks, and work on solutions in collaboration with various teams.
Product Development: Keep a keen eye out for new features to improve our operations and users' experience.
Program/Project Management: Be a resourceful, go-getting multitasker, supporting large, cross-functional initiatives across a variety of areas (product, ops, sales, marketing, etc)
Develop Relationships: Foster strong relationships with markets and functional teams to ensure efficient and productive working relationships.
What you’ll need
Successful candidates will have a passionate commitment to improving the lives of people, an insane focus on excellence and customer centricity, and a strong alignment with our core values and purpose.
Relevant and proven experience in tech, operations, consulting, business intelligence, PMO and/or strategy. Ideally coming from a start-up background.
Strong analytical capabilities, mastery of Excel is required. Bonus points for technical ability in SQL.
Experience in defining solutions to complex, strategic topics with a deeply analytical and structured approach to issues
Balance attention to detail with swift execution - we need to do things quickly, and we need to do them well
Self-starter - the ability to self-serve, investigate and get the data we require will make you much more effective in this role
You never hesitate to roll up your sleeves and address something hands-on, you persevere when others fall away
Urdu or Arabic proficiency is a plus

For that reason, our offices are still open and provide plenty of collaboration-friendly spaces at times when teams need it or if you need a quiet space to work outside of home.
You’ll be working in the location you’re hired from. Due to legal and compensation considerations, you will need to be based out of the country you’re hired from as your primary work location.
