have at least two years' of experience (or equivalent) as a registered nurse in an Emergency Department.
Is a genuine good human being
hold a current annual practicing certificate
holds current medical indemnity insurance
hold Core Advanced Certificate (issued within the past 3 years)
holds a current triage certificate
understands current infection prevention and control certificate held (preferable)
holds a current vaccinator certificate held (preferable)
holds a IV Cannulation Certificate
has knowledge of the New Zealand health system, particularly ACC.
is comfortable working in an alpine environment in a variety of weather conditions.
Has a good knowledge of ski area snow conditions, and the ability to ski or snowboard in all weather is an advantage, however not a requirement.
