Responsibilities of the Executive Chef:

  • Oversee the resort’s culinary operations including food safety regulations, staff management, inventory management and cost controls

  • Develop menus to reflect the resort’s concepts. Ensure efficient preparation, plating, and service of food while upholding the utmost standards of quality service

  • Optimise back of house operations to maximise revenue potential and uphold the resort’s integrity and reputation

  • Support the full recruitment process of kitchen team members

  • Provide leadership and guidance to the back of house team members. Creating and developing a motivating and team work environment

Who are we looking for?

  • 5 years experience in a comparable role, preferably within a luxury hotel/resort

  • Strong business and financial acumen

  • Confident, calm, approachable and professional individual with exceptional communication and time management skills

  • A self-motivated, natural leader who can support and inspire team members

  • Experience using hospitality software systems is an asset
