To assist the Suite Attendants in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness in Guest suites, corridors, and other assigned areas in accordance with Company policy.

All duties and responsibilities are to be performed in accordance with the Crystal Basics, ISM/ISO, STCW, and MLC standards, USPH guidelines, and environmental regulations.

Each shipboard employee may be required to perform all functions in various service venues and throughout the ship.

- To assist the Suite Attendants in cleaning assigned Guest suites, sections and pantries following USPH procedures, according to the schedule and instructions from the 1st Asst. Housekeeper.

- To keep assigned lockers and corridors always clean and tidy in accordance with safety rules and regulations.

- To always keep work trolleys organized and tidy.

- To ensure that all cleaning equipment is properly and securely stored away when not on duty.

- To follow and execute the Housekeeping Sanitation program and to complete and update all Sanitation Log sheets as per policy.

- To use the Hepburn product in the sanitary system during regular scheduled intervals.

- To assist the Suite Attendant in cleaning and sanitizing isolation rooms in accordance to Company policy.

- To assist the Suite Attendants in providing Guest turndown service every evening, and to replenish amenities and towels on a daily basis or as necessary.

- To maintain a friendly and approachable demeanour, even under pressure, and utilize an in-depth knowledge and understanding of Crystal Basics.

- To conduct oneself in a professional and courteous manner, including physical and verbal interactions with fellow shipboard employees and/or in the presence of guests.

- To attend meetings, training activities, courses and all other work-related activities as required.

- To record work and rest hours on the crew portal on a continuous basis.

- To perform operational related duties as required. Key requirements:

Minimum age for all applicants is 21 years.

Must have clear criminal record.

Must not be on any chronic medication and have clear medical history.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience in a luxury hotel or on board a luxury cruise ship preferred.

Previous Housekeeping experience beneficial.

Very good spoken English (needs to score at least 70% in the onboard English proficiency test).

Must have very good organizational skills and show attention to detail.

Must undergo onboard USPH training.

Must have initiative and the ability to work independently.

Must be able to remain calm under pressure.

Must be service minded with an outgoing, charming, and friendly personality.

College Degree/Diploma beneficial.

Experience in a luxury hotel or on board a luxury cruise ship preferred.

Must be in possession of all position relevant STCW certification as mandated by the International Maritime Organization (IMO).
