MARKETING & OPERATIONS ASSISTANT | £22,000 - £30,000 | RELOCATE TO THE UK WITH WORK VISA SPONSORSHIP

We are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious office, operations & marketing assistant, who is looking for a varied role that will offer a broad range of experience related to both the legal and financial services industry. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in either a professional office environment with a willingness to learn and adapt their skills.

Required technical skills are:

English speaking;

- Microsoft Office skills – Excel, Word and PowerPoint;

- previous experience in operations and marketing;

- previous experience working in a law firm or the financial services sector is an

advantage;

- marketing or business degree - ideal but not compulsory.

Must-have criteria for this role:

- Independent, resourceful, and confident with great problem-solving skills;

- Strong interpersonal skills, business sense, and professionalism to communicate with

all levels of management, staff and clients;

- Proactive, able to take the initiative and anticipate the firm’s and client’s needs;

- Ability to work effectively with a range of personality types and seniority levels;

- Self-starter with a history of pushing for deadline-driven results;

- Be able to jump in and support the team when/where needed; and

- Lead and be one step ahead, constantly be thinking about what needs to be done next

to improve things for the team and our clients. Think of new initiatives, new ways of

doing things, and introduce them into the workday, to help move us forward;

-Good working knowledge of MS Office is essential;

-Working knowledge of WordPress would be highly advantageous;

- Ability to commute to the office as this is an in-office role; and

- A mac laptop as we operate a BYOD policy to allow for maximum agility.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The office, operations & marketing assistant will work within the team to take on

responsibilities including but not limited to:

- managing internal databases and filing systems;

- implementing and maintaining procedures/administrative systems;

- managing and preparing the company billings and invoicing;

- assisting the Director of Operations with day to day tasks;

- assist with the company’s PR, marketing, social media, website updates;

- preparing draft submissions for awards; and

- general office management.

The right candidate will also be adept at:

- strong interpersonal skills;

This role is a great chance for a junior marketing and operations assistant who has been

focusing on either marketing or operations to broaden their horizons in a varied role in a

boutique law firm.

LOCATION

Our offices are in a restored period factory building located in the well-connected and trendy neighborhood of Bermondsey in London. A mixture of physical attendance in the office and remote working is expected in the current circumstances of covid.

We have a relaxed and friendly office environment, and we dress casually unless we are

meeting with clients.

SALARY FTE: £22,000 - £30,000 based on experience.
