We are searching for a Marketing Copywriter to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a fully remote position and the successful individual could be based anywhere in the world. You will collaborate with a fantastic remote team that serves US and Canadian clients. In-depth expertise in copywriting, digital marketing, and copyediting are all included in this position. The Marketing Copywriter is in charge of producing engaging, high-converting content for each Wishpond customer in compliance with Wishpond standards, protecting our partners' brands.
Write compelling and fresh marketing and digital content on a daily basis that supports business objectives and adheres to the established brand voice of clients
Write all forms of copy and messaging (conversion copy, long-form writing, short-form writing, ad copywriting, webpages & landing pages, conversion funnels, emails, social media captions, video scripts, and more.)
Collaborate with Creative Director, Designers, Account Managers and Clients to determine the conceptual and copy direction of branding and advertising initiatives
Other duties as assigned
2+ years of experience working with a Digital Marketing Agency is required
Deep understanding of Marketing concepts that work hand-in-hand with copywriting such as prospects’ stages of awareness, conversion funnel stages, retargeting, storytelling, frameworks, etc
Must be a master of writing kickass headlines & brevity
Creative thinker who goes beyond words to generate copy that converts
A strong habit of message mining & research, before creating any content
Able to navigate multiple formats of content while meeting each of their needs for maximum impact
A habit of iterating and optimizing ideas in continuous feedback loops, aligned with receiving campaign insights & feedback from the marketing team is a must-have quality
Self-motivated with the ability to establish and maintain solid relationships through a client-first mentality
As part of a diverse team, ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
Must be technical, analytical, and have the ability to manage complex projects seamlessly
Organized, administratively strong, great time management, and have solid writing, phone, and general communication skills
Fluent in English (spoken and written). Knowledge of a second language is considered an asset
Willing to participate in ongoing education and training for the role
It is expected that the successful candidate will provide their own workstation, computer, and headset, and have a fast and reliable internet connection. The individual must be prepared to work standard business hours on EST or PST
