The incumbent is responsible for scheduled and non-scheduled repairs and rehabilitation of all plant, equipment and facilities assigned to an area including programmed maintenance, T&Is, and new construction projects. Consults daily with supervisor regarding work priority, job progress and unusual problems. Executing daily work with minimum supervision. Incumbent is normally assigned to one of the maintenance departments where he will be responsible for laser cladding and coating procedures for machine shop team to carry on repair jobs of turbo machinery equipment spare parts.

Key Responsibilities


 
Determine laser cladding requirements and can establish priorities for maintenance work. Analyzes requests for HVOF coating and laser cladding in his area and Recommends work which can be economically assigned to contractor organizations and develops scope of work. He can develop and reviews machining schedules in detail; verifies initial estimate for labor, material, tools, equipment and shop work; reviews and verifies adequacy of estimated project cost prior to and during work progress. Also, can completeness of scope of work, drawings and list of materials.

Mechanical Services Shops Dept. (MSSD) is the Centralized shops for repairing & overhauling rotating equipment. Where we received the equipment from the plants. MSSD analyze the error root cause, develop repair\ overhauling plan, request or fabricate required spare parts do the repair or overhauling and do the required test to insure the quality of the services provided. This includes field repair and inspection.


 
Minimum Requirements


 
Master of Science Discipline Title: Mechanical Engineering or Material Engineering Minimum
 
Years of Experience: 10 Years Experience : practical knowledge and experience in laser cladding and welding
 
Good knowledge of the rotating equipment design, materials, operating function and international standards
 
Good knowledge of powder based laser systems.
 
Required/Preferred Proficiency: Proficiency English Required Minimum Professional Proficiency
