• Build up the in-house legal function of the organization
• Proactively provide legal advice to internal departments and project groups
• Work on a broad variety of tasks with focus on commercial and company law, GDPR / data privacy compliance issues, IP, IT, M&A and Employment law
• Draft, negotiate, translate and review various types of legal contracts and documents (NDAs, employee agreements, customer contracts, etc.)
• Support prospects and clients regarding legal questions around data privacy, GDPR, etc.
• Monitor ongoing legal developments regarding data privacy and protection around the world (focus Europe and North America)
• Collaborate closely with the Operations & HR Team
• University degree in law
• Being registered attorney in Austria is a strong plus
• 4+ years of professional experience at a law firm
• Profound knowledge in the fields of commercial law, contractual law, and data privacy
• Experience in financing rounds / M&A activities is a plus
• Willingness to learn and improve own skills in areas where you do not have the most relevant experience
• Highly energetic personality with a "can do/ getting things done" attitude
• Result-driven as well as excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills
• Native in German and excellent command of English
• Must be able to navigate and blend into a high paced start-up environment
• Previous experience as in-house counsel is a plus

At least €75,000 annual gross salary incl. overtime – additional payment according to skills and experience
