We are now looking for Legal Counsel to join our Legal Department.You will work with the Governance and Risk team where you will get to be a part of a cross-functional team with a very broad impact, with visibility throughout the organisation and a significant opportunity to take ownership. Our cross-functional teams are all about working with autonomy, collaboration and sharing knowledge! As a Legal Counsel, you will be encouraged to embrace and get to know more about the business and the innovations in the field of technology and the fintech scenario. We are working in a hybrid mode, but you'll be able to choose from which office you would like to work: Berlin, Hamburg. A relocation package and/or visa support will be offered for those who need it.
Work in a cool, challenging, innovative, and future-oriented field of activity
Accompanied by an experienced, young, cheerful and dynamic team you will work on multi-layered tasks of an in-house lawyer in a fintech, including in particular the areas of supervisory, corporate, money laundering and data protection law
You will support the team in researching and answering legal questions
As part of the job, you will draft and comment on contracts, write opinions on new legislation and prepare manuals and processes
Participate in internal and external meetings and negotiations and become part of the innovative finleap fintech ecosystem and you will learn from experienced team members
You will also have the opportunity to look into other interesting areas.
You have an understanding of economic and technical contexts as well as an interest in innovation, fintech and the corresponding subject areas
In addition to very good English and German skills, you show confidence and have fun at work
You are a good team player and bring a good dose of humor
You have already been able to successfully apply your commitment as well as your independent and self-reliant way of working.
