A specialist in internal communications is needed to join our group in Amsterdam. Our internal communications, which include strategic employee communication, change management communications, and company-wide events, are created and carried out by the internal communications team. The team communicates with employees, HR, senior leadership, SRS North America, and various Group departments as well as internal and external stakeholders. By making sure that our team is involved, connected, and informed throughout the following stages of our growth, you will be supporting the implementation of internal communications programs that support our company goals as our internal communications specialist. You will work closely with the Internal Communications Lead to develop an internal communications function for our fast-growing environment within the Communications team. THIS IS HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE
You will play a key role in developing and executing SRS’s internal communications programs, with a strong focus on the growth that is coming our way.
You will create content that tells a compelling story, brings our mission, values and ways of working to life.
You will implement and maintain the processes and tooling required for building an internal communications infrastructure that allows for internal dialogue and engagement at scale. This includes helping build a company intranet on the Office 365 platform, rolling out Yammer as a company wide social media tool. Once intranet is created, you will ensure content is current and created/supplied in a timely manner.
Coordinate with team members to ensure timely and precise production and dissemination of communication materials.
You will help craft the content and event strategies that underpin the execution of our internal communications strategy (e.g. global all-hands, internal senior management communications, newsletter, social media, intranet and global strategy days).
You will enable SRS to share their strategies and milestones via an integrated internal communications plan to continuously bring the most engaging formats to life and convey strong messages (e.g. video, podcast, impact campaigns).
You will help roll out a data-driven internal communications program with a strong focus on measurement, evaluation and continuous optimisation.
understanding of engagement mechanisms and measurement
people skills, with solid networking and collaboration capabilities
willingness to work with collaborative IT applications (Office365, Microsoft Teams, Sharepoint as well as Miro, Mentimeter etc.)
communication — excellent written and verbal command of the English language and storytelling skills are key
knowledge of video editing tools would be an advantage
understanding what it takes to connect and engage teams.
skilled in internal communications and naturally curious communications professional (2 - 4 years of experience)
