We are currently looking for a Junior Editor to join our Commerce Content Team in our office in London. You will become a part of the agile, fast-growing team of experts, including tech enthusiasts, online marketers, key account managers, and editors. You will have the opportunity to work on projects with an international footprint where we value your input and allow you to become a driver of change. Visa support is available.
Amongst many exciting challenges, you will:
Write top-notch commercial content (including product reviews, gift guides and product roundups) for our premium publisher partners in the UK, with a focus on tech, fashion, lifestyle goods, and more
Ensure each piece of content for our publishing partners meets high editorial standards
Act as an expert on the best products to shop online
Edit your peers’ work to help us publish high-quality content fast and make sure the content aligns with our brand’s voice and tone
Optimize website rankings in search engines through content-focused strategies
Monitor and analyse sales data in order to identify improvement measures
Analyse data from our Business Intelligence team to improve our conversion rate
Contribute to a monthly editorial calendar showcasing the best products to buy online
Test products and take original product photos
Connect with PR professionals to learn about brand launches, industry trends, and acquire product samples that can be used for testing
Experience as a content writer or journalist, bonus if you have previous e-commerce editorial experience or commercial product writing experience
An excellent grasp of the English language and superior writing skills
A proactive mindset and a desire to write about many different topics that relate to shopping
Good analytical instincts, and the ability to work independently
Knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, and Photoshop would be a plus
