THE RESPONSIBILITIES

The overall responsibility in the hospitals surgical ward working as a Paediatric Nurse is to support with the pre and post operative care of patients. Yor role as a Paediatric Nurse is to demonstrate good clinical practice and be responsible for all aspects of acute patient care whilst reporting into the Senior Staff Nurses on the ward. You will work to assess, plan, and deliver the right standard of care to each patient in the pre and post operative phase. You will be able to quickly identify any issues or concerns and act accordingly and be a real advocate for your patients’ needs as well as their families. You will also be assigned ad hoc duties by the Senior team.

REQUIREMENTS

  • IELTS or OET passed (or exempt from this requirement)

  • CBT passed

  • Ready to sit OSCE exam

  • Minimum of 1years experience working in a Paediatric setting

  • Keep up to date with current practices and procedure guidelines

  • Considering the nature of the role excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required

Please note: We are also considering candidates who have passed IELTS or OET and are currently going through the next steps of NMC registration (i.e., CBT) We are happy to speak to you and work with you until you get to OSCE stage.
