We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our integrated teams with experienced therapists and therapy assistants, who work closely alongside our nursing colleagues. There will be a requirement to travel to clinics and patients within the community and therefore access to transport and or full driving licence is essential as you develop into the role.

Main duties of the job

The Occupational Therapy Rotational Scheme offers a broad base of clinical experience for qualified therapists. Staff on the rotation will be expected to work on varied placements.

The duration of the rotations are 8 months and cover the following areas: -

Community Rehabilitation

Specialist Services which include the Neurosciences Pathways

Wheelchair Service

Community Neurology

Social Services

Supported Care Teams

General In-Patient Rehabilitation

The role is based across various locations in Norfolk which include North Norfolk, South Norfolk and Norwich for example.

Essential criteria
 

  • • Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualifications that will enable HCPC registration

  • • HCPC Registration or be able to provide evidence of working towards registration
