Are you a passionate Midwife who would love the opportunity to deliver high quality maternity care in an exceptional NHS maternity setting? We can offer you just that!
Here at Northern Lincolnshire & Goole NHS Foundation Trust we provide exceptional maternity services which aims to provide flexible, individualised services designed to fit around women and their baby’s journey.
When joining us as a Midwife you will form part of a multi-disciplinary team caring for a diverse population of women spread across our 3 hospital sites. Our Grimsby site offers a unique LDRP model of care; that’s labour, delivery, recovery, and postnatal care in private en-suite rooms. This home-from-home environment has proved hugely popular with families and partners who are actively encouraged to stay. In addition to this, we also have a dedicated theatre, family room, high dependency room, a room for disabled mums-to-be and a water birth room.
Our Scunthorpe site offers an antenatal clinic and assessment unit, a mixed ante and post-natal ward including a transitional care area, a central delivery suite incorporating a dedicated obstetric theatre and birthing pool, and a neonatal intensive care unit. Our Goole site is a midwifery-led service, with a home-from-home delivery unit with delivery bed and birthing pool. Women who are classed as ‘high-risk’ are transferred to Scunthorpe for delivery.
