We are looking for an International Expansion Associate to help us grow our operating infrastructure across the world and deliver on our mission of “employment at the click of a button” worldwide. At an exciting time of fast growth for us, this highly entrepreneurial role will cover a diverse set of responsibilities and growth opportunities in a very international setting.
What you'll do...
Executing WorkMotion’s international expansion strategy by helping to manage the set-up of operational entities across the globe and the infrastructure for WorkMotion to employ compliantly worldwide.
Drafting and implementing the processes required for the local and global management of WorkMotion’s global entities (e.g. HR set-up, taxation, etc.), as well as sourcing and selecting local partners critical to the operations of all entities.
Working closely with our Finance and Legal teams to forecast set-up, go-live and medium-term running costs of our entities, to help build a fully compliant employment and contract infrastructure, and help expand our country-specific knowledge base.
Cross-functionally collaborate with WorkMotion’s Finance, Client Operations and Product teams to integrate processes globally, expand our core products and standardize across the entire organization.
What we're looking for...
Bachelor's of Master's degree in a relevant field
2+ years experience as a consultant, analyst, business developer, or in venture development
Proven problem-solving skills with determination to independently and creatively unblock challenges and deliver results
Initial work experience in consulting, VC or a fast-paced startup environment
Open-minded and entrepreneurial work attitude, with ability to respond flexibly across a varying and dynamic set of topics and tasks
Being comfortable in a high-pace work environment, while maintaining high attention to details and organization
Excellent interpersonal, communication and team-player skills
Fluency in written and spoken English
Excited and passionate about shaping the future of work and access to global talent
What excites us...
Previous experience in project management, legal/paralegal, international expansion or 3rd party vendor management roles
Proficiency/fluency in languages other than English
