HR GENERALIST, REMOTE | WORK FROM HOME

By providing the required assistance for the company's ongoing HR operations, the Human Resources Generalist position enhances the performance of the organization. This position will support clients in finding solutions to their human resources-related problems. One must have appropriate HR expertise, be a superb HR strategy executor with a thorough awareness of HR regulations and processes, and have outstanding verbal and writing communication to succeed in this position.

What you will be doing:
 

  • Assist in day-to-day operations of the HR for clients

  • Prepare HR documents such as, but not limited to, employment contracts, new hire guides and performance management documents.

  • Provide support on HR matters such as dealing with complex performance, attendance, and employee relations issues.

  • Interact with clients via written communications (policies, emails, text, etc)

  • Maintain a clear understanding and provides up-to-date knowledge of the legal framework within which HR operates; developing HR policies in line with current legislation and keeping abreast of modern HR procedures and best practices.

  • Manage keeping projects up to date on tasks, assignees, dependencies and more

  • Provide additional HR administrative support duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or any relevant coursework.

  • You have 2 or more years of being an HR Generalist.

  • 2+ years working experience with US companies and small businesses

  • You have initiative and work to figure out how address tasks; always providing solutions or ideas of how to address

  • Your resourcefulness has gotten you far; knowing how to figure out what you don’t know is an area you pride yourself in

  • You have experience in at least 2 of the following: Performance management, Employee Relations, Recruiting and compensation & benefits administration.

  • You have an excellent interpersonal, people management, and organizational skills

  • You are excellent in verbal and written communication.

  • You believe your work says amazing things about you even when people have never met you

  • You have an outstanding sense of responsibility and ownership.

It’s a nice plus if:
 

  • You have worked with a US startup company before.

  • You have worked with Mineral HR, Rippling, and/or Workable
