You will provide care and support to vulnerable adults, children, and everyone else in their own homes. Visa sponsorship is available for overseas candidates.

The main duties and responsibilities of the job:

1. Personal care – Supporting with washing (Bath, shower, strip wash) and

dressing

2. Medication – Administration of medication to those who are not able to administer medication independently and support

3. Meal preparation – Prepare hot or cold meals, this may including cooking food from scratch on a cooker

4. Domestic – Cleaning eg hoovering, moping, dusting and changing bedding and completing laundry tasks which may occasionally include ironing

5. Toileting – Assisting service users to the toilet or to change in incontinence pads in or out of bed. Emptying and changing of catheter bag.

6. Out and about – Supporting the service user to access the community and promote independence and ensure they are integrated in the community

7. Shopping – completing shopping for service users who are unable to access the community to get their shopping

8. Ad hoc duties as and when they arise to support the service user

Skills, qualifications and experience required UK based workers:

1. Driving licence preferred but no essential

2. Fluent in English (Speaking, listening, writing and reading)

3. Experience in care preferred but not essential

No experience is required, we will give you full training on all the core subjects including the care certificate, manual handling, medication and infection control.

Skills, qualifications and experience required for overseas workers applying on a sponsor license:

1. Nursing qualification or Caregiver certificate

2. IELTS – B1 Level (Speaking, listening, writing and reading)

3. Driving licence but no essential

Salary: £20,592 per annum
