Role Duties & Responsibilities:

  • To carry out and undertake specific and general tasks which will provide good quality of health, welfare and well-being of the residents

  • Interviewing individuals and families

  • Understanding the needs of the service user

  • Spending time with the service user

  • Recommending the best course of action for an individual and/or family

  • Liaising with other social workers, officials and local government

  • Report writing

  • Keeping up to date with changing legislation

  • Giving evidence in court

  • Planning activities

  • Helping in crises

  • Strengthening local knowledge and community ties

  • Spotting new and changing needs of the social user

  • Providing information and support to clients

 

Qualifications & Experience: 

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience

 

Requirements:

  • Accredited degree in social work

  • Registered with Social Care England or in the process of applying

  • Passport 

  • Driving Licence

  • IELTS Assessment 

  • Criminal Record Check 

  • TB screening if applicable
