Reporting to our Head of Business Development and Sales, the compensation ranges from £45,585 to £54,395 per annum, contingent upon experience.
The team would prefer a full-time (35hrs pw) working pattern, however, are committed to offering flexibility so are happy to consider flexible working options, i.e. compressed hours or staggered start/finish times. The role requires frequent work-related travel, both national and international.

Working within EDINA’s sales team while collaborating closely with ISG’s Data-Driven Innovation IoT Programme (IoT), and Digital Curation Centre (DCC).
Selling core products and services including: IoT, training and consultancy, data management, geospatial and satellite data, computational learning platforms, and AI solutions.
Establishing a workable understanding of all technology solutions to ensure the ability to sell efficiently and effectively.
Exploring new markets, and successfully identifying and engaging with new external customers to create a strong sales pipeline.
Expanding current customer opportunities for technology solutions and growing market share within existing segments.
Contributing to wider organisational business development plans through planning and 2-3 year horizon scanning of their markets.

Essential:
Strong, demonstrable experience of, and ability to, develop new business opportunities.
Ability to work autonomously, prioritising the delivery of sales targets.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop and maintain influential stakeholder relationships, both internal and external.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desirable:
Experience in the technology fields ISG are developing would be an advantage, but is not essential.
