The Head of Supply Operations will be managing the entire Supply Operations team and will scale it to allow the company to deliver on its ambitious growth objectives.
An ambitious self-starter with proven analytical capabilities, as well as a strategic mindset with broad operational experience, the Head of Supply Operations will own and drive operational excellence for all operations related to the Supplier side of our Marketplace. They will keep pace with our growth to continually identify ways to improve our operations for the benefit of our customers and will initiate, plan and implement new ideas independently to achieve the company’s objectives and key results.
The Supply Operations team is the team responsible for driving strategic supplier engagement and for ensuring that Printify is increasing the product selection available to our clients, while keeping quality and price to the highest standards.
The team includes a broad range of sub-teams and responsibilities, such as Supplier Partnerships, Category Management, Shipping operations, New Product onboarding, Product Presentation and others.
The Head of Supply Operations Role
Own & build. You are accountable for the success of all operations on the vendor side of our Marketplace. You are responsible for managing a team of close to 50 people and to triple its size in the next few years. You will own and drive our partnership strategy, new product onboarding, category management and shipping operations. You must be able to diagnose & address problems quickly, have foresight into potential issues and lead your team in hitting their goals
Strategise. You define and execute on our Supply Operations vision and strategy while balancing short and long-term goals
Influence. You work cross-functionally with our Product, Engineering, Finance, Sales and Marketing teams to improve our product selection. You lead the team to deliver results by executing daily, weekly, and monthly targets in support of operating objectives
Analyse. You incorporate data, research and market analysis to inform business orientation, product strategies and operational roadmaps and decide on impactful high-level input metrics
Improve. You identify process inefficiencies and propose scalable solutions globally. You identify and eliminate barriers to accuracy, productivity, and quality while solving complex customer interactions and proactively detecting negative trends
Minimum 10 years of proven track record driving supply operations in a retail or eCommerce environment
Experience working with online platforms
Experience in high growth environments with changing circumstances, direction, and strategy
Strong business understanding and customer / supplier empathy
Excellent quantitative problem solving and analytical skills
Excellent written & spoken communication skills in English
Effective communication to send clear, concise and consistent written and verbal messages
Proven track record of delivering objectives on time
Experience of working independently, juggling multiple tasks and prioritising customer facing initiatives
