HEAD OF MARKETING, IN DUBLIN | RELOCATE TO IRELAND WITH WORK VISA

As our Head of Marketing Ireland you will be a key member of our Irish Leadership Team responsible for driving the business through the next stage of growth. Directly reporting into the Country Manager, you will contribute to all aspects of the Irish business with an overall responsibility for defining and executing the Irish marketing strategy.

You will manage the local marketing team consisting of 5 direct reports and 3 external agencies, and work very closely with other local and central marketing, HR and operations teams. Within your role you will need to develop the marketing strategies which grow brand awareness, drive passenger/driver acquisition, and support passenger/driver lifecycle through retention, loyalty and engagement initiatives. It’s an exciting role in an extremely competitive and fast paced industry - certainly not for the faint of heart!

The role:

  • Work closely with both the local management team and central marketing team to define, monitor and adjust the Irish marketing strategy, including both day-to-day tactics and long term plans.

  • Responsible for delivering on local ride targets, through a combination of brand building, acquisition and retention activities.

  • Responsible for delivering on local brand awareness targets, through the design and execution of brand plans across paid, earned and owned media.

  • Responsible for delivering local New User Acquisition targets, through the management of local Partnerships and via collaboration with central Performance, CRM & Partnerships teams.

  • Establish, monitor and report on all key marketingKPIs and Metrics.

  • Manage the substantial local Marketing budget, and key stakeholder supporting in the investment of passenger incentives budget.

  • Be the voice of the customer in strategic discussions and bring customer insight to the forefront of daily operations so as to strengthen your go-to-market and brand communications.

  • Continue recent efforts to bring customer care insights into the marketing organisation.

  • Work with local marketing teams to run ad hoc surveys amongst our user base.

  • Work with central research and strategy teams to operationalise new segmentation studies.

  • Manage a team of 5 direct reports and develop new ways of working, recruiting your own new Senior marketing manager to help lead the team.

  • Partner with local operations teams to ensure optimal supply and demand equilibrium in the market.

  • Work closely with central Marketplace Performance and local data teams to track and measure all marketing activities and to make recommendations for future improvements and optimisation.

  • Partner closely with the Irish Head of PR to ensure symbiosis between marketing and PR plans.

  • Manage the agency relationships with 3 leading local agencies in Creative, Social and Media.

  • Identify and manage the relationship with local CSR partners linked to brand building initiatives.

  • Present marketing plans and insights in all key meetings within the company meeting cadence, including weekly performance reviews, weekly local all hands and monthly operating reviews.

  • Ensure that the Irish Marketing team continues to be seen as one of the strongest marketing teams within the organisation.

Our requirements:

  • At least 7 years in marketing, with specific experience in a local Irish marketing role.

  • At least 3 years of people management experience.

  • Proven experience working in high-growth companies.

  • Highly organised and detailed approach, especially to budget management.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead, coach and influence others.

  • Genuine interest and passion in the mobility industry.

  • Demonstrable experience of building and leading the implementation of a marketing strategy.

  • Strong understanding of the Irish competitive, cultural and media landscapes.

  • Experience with social media, CSR and strategic partnerships in the Irish market is desirable.

  • Analytical mindset, capable of basic analysis and able to manage ‘techies’ for deeper insights.

  • Brand building mindset, with the ability to balance long-term and short-term plans and goals.

  • Challenger mindset, demonstrable out-the-box thinking and a healthy approach to taking risks.

  • Resourceful, treating money as if it were your own, and ready to roll your sleeves up.

  • Comfortable presenting to the Irish team with a goal of ensuring brand alignment within the wider Irish team.
