Work as part of our multi-disciplinary and international team, responsible for delivering high-quality projects and solutions to our clients
Provide expertise on a broad range of mineral deposit styles, with an appreciation for both mineral systems and more conventional exploration strategies
Design and implement exploration strategies at a range of scales, including desk-based and field programmes, as well as associated project support
Expertise should be pertinent to the energy transition and meeting future metal and mineral demands
Keep abreast of technical developments to ensure CGG is well placed to respond to future client requirements
Mentor and coach team members with their technical development and encourage them to identify, and crystallise, new learning and opportunities
Support business development efforts and act as a client-facing subject matter expert within sales initiatives
Ability to work at (or travel to) other locations and overseas as required
This role has a flexible location; however, as a priority, you will ideally be based in, or be willing to relocate to, the UK. Candidates currently living in France, Italy, Australia (Perth) and Canada will be considered and assessed based on their experience and their ability to demonstrate that they could perform this role outside of the UK. Further details can be discussed with the Hiring Manager at interview stage.
Qualifications
At least 15 years’ industry experience, with a strong applied background in mineral exploration within a mine operator and/or consulting firm
Educated to at least MSc level in a relevant subject, with a demonstrable track record in mineral exploration investigations
Proven management and leadership experience (including direct reports, staff development, recruitment etc.)
IT literate, preferably with knowledge of and/or exposure to data science (knowledge and proficiency in industry standard software tools would be advantageous)
Demonstrable publication/conference presentation track record would be desirable
Desired Personal Profile

Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written English
Fluency or operational adequacy in Spanish and/or French would be an advantage

Good administrative and data management skills
Proven analytical skills
Adaptability to handle diverse projects and mandates
Established industry presence and knowledge is desirable
