An entrepreneurial Venture Capitalist is seeking to hire a Fund Accountant to join their successful global team. The firm is one of the largest technology and healthcare investors with global reach, yet has a small central team, allowing career progression and exposure to working with Senior Management. If working abroad is on your agenda, relocation is available - they have offices in Asia, Europe, and America. Hybrid working on offer (2 days in the office), along with the chance to gain and hone systems implementations experience. The business is tech savvy with automation high on its agenda. They are agile and embrace change.
Performing accounting and fund administration for the venture capital funds investing in Europe, Asia and investments made into third party funds
Responsible for month end accounting and reporting process which includes the reconciliation of investment and cash transactions
Production of quarterly investor reports, General Partner board reporting, and annual fund financial statements
Preparation of carried interest calculations
Preparation of distribution and call notices and associated calculations
Responsible for managing the capital call process including preparation of Investment Authorisation forms, coordination respective teams to execute funding and timely recording of transactions
The ideal candidate will be new to two years post qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) and those straight from audit or those who already work in Fund Accounting will be considered.
