FINTECH SALES EXECUTIVE | REMOTE

Reporting to the Vice President, the Fintech Sales Executive will have between 2 and 5 years of prior experience in an institutional sales capacity, and ability to work well in a high-pressure team environment, and an unusual level of drive, the ability to think outside the box. Excellent relationship management skills are a must! Series 7 is mandatory.

Job Responsibilities:

• Working specifically with our Primer Brokerage accounts, you will build and establish new relationships with hedge funds, prop trading accounts, high net worth individuals and family offices to actively grow Alpaca’s client base & AUM by onboarding and growing new clients

• Build, qualify and close new and existing quality leads for Alpaca’s Prime Broker API offering

• Clearly communicate Alpaca’s mission and unique value-add in the market

• Provide high-touch client service; owning both external client communication and hands-on pre and post-trade execution support

• Collaborates with sales partners and cross-functional teams to support growth strategies and targeted prospecting activities to produce new business

• Develop a working relationship with prospects through regular, value-add interactions

• Identify specific client and prospect needs, and develop innovative and efficient solutions to these

• Maintain pipeline hygiene in Hubspot to provide accurate status, activity reporting

• Maintain proficiency in product knowledge and existing and emerging industry trends

• Travel as needed to close business...post covid!

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• 2+ years of prime brokerage experience selling B2C solutions and/or strong experience financial services industry

• Knowledge and experience in global financial markets, financial instruments and cryptocurrency

• Industry experience selling to financial institutions, preferably to investors and traders

• Outcome-oriented with a history of consistent quota over-achievement

• Ability to quickly build rapport and trusting relationships at various levels

• Personable & professional demeanor with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and written

• Self-starter with excellent organizational skills, a strong ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize workload under pressure

• Teamwork, good communication, and internal partnership skills are a must!

• CRM experience, such as in Salesforce or Hubspot

• Strong interest in Alpaca’s mission to broaden access to financial markets

• FINRA series 7 is required

• FINRA series 24, 63 certifications are a plus
