We're looking for an experienced financial controller to oversee our site's business advice and supply teams. The ideal candidate will work closely with regional functional groups to ensure seamless cooperation and communication. Additionally, the financial controller will be responsible for maintaining a strict cost culture and ensuring compliance with our Expenditure Approval Policy (EAP). Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role will require a deep understanding of all aspects of audit and financial compliance. Located or willing to relocate to Norway (relocation assistance provided).
Be a leader and create medium- and long-term business opportunities as a front line of commercial support.
Head the ongoing formal cost improvement process by making sure the refinery cost management goals are successfully achieved.
Manage the site business advice and supply teams to ensure cooperation with the regional functional groups.
Ensure there is a strict cost culture with a focus on all aspects of audit and compliance with the Expenditure Approval Policy (EAP).
The role reports to the Operations manager.
10+ years’ of commercial experience in a similar role.
Experience with finance function management.
A finance degree in accounting and or economics is a requirement.
Fluency in English is required, Norwegian is a big advantage.
