Granicus is currently looking for a highly analytical and energetic Financial Analyst to join the Finance Team, reporting to the Manager of FP&A. The Financial Analyst will be an integral team member in supporting the business in its key strategic projects and initiatives as we continue to grow and scale. This multi-department facing position will offer opportunities to drive better business partnering and insights, while also growing your communication and interpersonal skills. You will work closely with the FP&A Team in the budgeting and planning processes and deliver value-added analysis to our stakeholders. You must have a love for numbers and problem-solving, as well as want to make a positive impact with your work.
Provide operational analysis and reporting designed to drive increased awareness into departmental and total company performance
Play an active role alongside the FP&A Team in the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes
Assist the FP&A Team in key business projects and initiatives
Support the Finance and Executive Teams in M&A deal activity as well as assisting in the integration of newly acquired companies
Learn and use Adaptive Insights for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
Discover, explore, and recommend innovative ways of making the business more efficient and profitable
Provide back-up support to other Finance team members as needed
Who You Are:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
1-2+ years of experience preferred in financial planning, forecasting, and/or budgeting
Proficiency in Excel
Knowledge of common business and cost drivers and financial statement analysis
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Self-motivated but also able to collaborate successfully with different teams across the organization
A record of accomplishment and delivery against objectives
Adaptive Planning, Salesforce and NetSuite experience a plus
Experience in SaaS/software would set you apart
