We are looking for a Finance Operations Manager to join our Operations Team. In this role, you will be a major contributor to establishing and running Finance and Accounting operations across our entities. You work closely with our Operations colleagues and cross-functional team members from People Operations, Business Development, Finance, Accounting and Engineering. You will also support the executive team by engaging in special, high-velocity projects that will range across all functional areas of the company, while making sure that our day-to-day operations run smoothly. Additional tasks might include setting up a DAO structure in combination with our Legal team, introducing new meeting- and project performance tracking standards, or negotiating contracts with outside vendors. The ideal candidate has previously worked in a Banking, Finance or Strategy Consulting role that challenged them to work in a fast-paced, agile and distributed team environment, who had to bring parties together for shared benefit and can work autonomously creating their own goals and desired outcomes for the role.
Establish and take ownership of Finance and Accounting processes, e.g. monthly crypto reporting, budgeting, tracking
Assist Operations Leadership with special projects across Legal, Finance, Recruiting-/ HR-related functions
Manage cross-functional projects incl. setting up milestones, targets and roadmaps for cross-team initiatives
Run external supplier negotiations (e.g. SaaS companies) for Evmos entities
Representation of Evmos at conferences, in our digital channels and communities
Define strategic priorities for yourself and the rest of the team to bring more value to the Evmos ecosystem
Develop an in-depth understanding of how a crypto growth company establishes and runs its Finance and Accounting Operations across entities
Manage Investor Relations and communication with Capital Markets together with executive team
Support core team to create and track progress of our strategic roadmap
Developing an active and prosperous ecosystem of value creation on the Evmos blockchain
Top Tier Strategy Consulting, Investment Banking or Project Management experience
Partnership, Accounting-, and Finance processes understanding in a Crypto company
Experience in solving legal- and compliance questions across international entities
Speaking German is a big plus
Presentation-building experience (Google Sheets, Powerpoint)
Experience in using Notion to setup and maintain Knowledge Management databases
