Our accounting team handles all aspects of financial accounting, including inventory accounting as well as management of accounts payable and receivable. You are in charge of crucial accounts receivable, accounts payable, and financial accounting operations in your capacity as a finance specialist in inventory accounting. You autonomously drive process optimizations while making sure your procedures are accounting-compliant. Our accountants will assist you in the handling of commercial transactions operationally. We will help in your relocation process
Responsibility for the balance sheet assessment of inventories according to HGB and IFRS
Monitoring and ensuring the completeness of inventory management and material expense postings along the entire logistics chain of About You
Analysis of posted inventory differences including derivation of measures
Further development of technically fully automated processes in order to be able to map the scaling of About You
Creation of reports and monitoring based on SQL queries
Collaboration in the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Coordination of internal departments (especially controlling, logistics, and procurement) and external auditors
Collaboration and management of projects in the finance area
A university degree in the field of economics or training as an accountant
Several years of professional experience in the field of finance, as an auditor for an auditing company and/or in a tax consulting profession
Experienced handling of an ERP system. Microsoft Dynamics NAV in particular is an advantage
Enjoys complexity and has good analytical thinking skills
Extensive technical understanding and experience in writing SQL queries
Independent, proactive way of working as well as good communication skills (also in English)
Very good MS Office skills
