About Zowie
At Zowie, we believe that buying online should feel like walking into your favorite local shop: personal, friendly, and easy. Our mission is to recreate offline shopping experiences online - but better.
Zowie brings speed and empathy to customer interactions. Our platform automates responses to repetitive questions around return policy, order status, etc. and saves time for customer service agents, who can then proactively turn website visitors into paying customers. It can work as an add-on with existing tools (Zendesk, Shopify, Gorgias, etc.) or become a standalone customer service platform.

Research conferences. We’re a dynamically growing company, and we’re constantly reaching for more. Participation in conferences with the same target group is an important part of our development.
Negotiate contracts. You’ll also execute event sponsorships and partnerships and align them with Zowie's holistic PR and Marketing strategy.
Manage technical production at events. This includes organizing conference stands and promotional materials while ensuring consistency in branding as well as Zowie’s look and feel across all events.
Act as a representative of Zowie. You’ll be the face and voice of the company at industry events (including direct meetings with potential buyers), online webinars, and other occasions.
Handle all necessary travel arrangements for conference participants, including plane tickets and accommodation.
Take care of strategy development. You’ll create a feedback loop to learn from every event so we can improve for the next one.
Cooperate with the Marketing Department to set expectations and ensure consistent and clear communication with employees and executives about events.
3-5 years of experience in event organization.
Expertise in organizing business conferences in the USA.
A portfolio showing your previous accomplishments, including any prior professional experience in event management.
Sales skills. You’ll be representing Zowie at various events worldwide.
Public speaking skills. These will be useful at conferences, webinars and in direct interactions with customers.
The ability to lead projects with a high level of autonomy, ambition, and a growth mindset.
The personality of a curious, high-achieving self-starter who works well under pressure.
Openness to travel the world. You’ll be taking plenty of voyages.
Fluency in English (preferably native-level).
