ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE MANAGER | £50,000 - £55,000 | RELOCATE TO THE UK WITH WORK VISA SPONSORSHIP

We’re looking for a qualified Electrical Maintenance Manager to support the factory engineering team. You will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the electrical infrastructure on site (everything from buildings through to production machinery). We have a fantastic opportunity for an Electrical Maintenance Manager to join our team based at our Cereal Partners Factory in Staverton, Wiltshire. In the role you will oversee the electrical reliability and maintenance across the factory whilst leading a team of 4 skilled engineers. As the Electrical Maintenance Manager, you’ll act as a subject matter experience for electrical matters on site. We have assessed this role and it would be applicable for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route.

Other key day-to-day activities will be:


 
- Maintaining the electrical infrastructure on site. Handling electrical compliance (statutory UK law for electricity at work regulations 1989). Electrical testing, PAT testing, fixed wiring, emergency lighting.
 
- Assisting the projects team with electrical upgrades and being the subject matter expert for the site on electrical engineering matters.
 
- Assist the maintenance engineers on complex electrical breakdowns and work closely with our Automation team
 
- Ensure the implementation of Electrical Asset Maintenance and TPM-PM to deliver Asset Intensity to meet business requirements
 
- Hold the position of Senior Electrical Duty Holder and Machinery Duty Holder and ensure all Duty Holders are sufficiently appointed, mentored and fully supported.

What will make you successful


 
To be successful in this key role you would need to be a fully qualified Electrical Engineer, preferably with experience working in a manufacturing maintenance environment. You’ll be comfortable leading a team and working with multiple stakeholders.
 

Key attributes we are looking for are:


 
- Fully qualified (Degree, HNC, ONC, CEng, Apprenticeship etc.) Electrical Engineer, preferably from a manufacturing background, (Senior Electrical Project Engineer, Electrical Maintenance Manager, Electrical Contracts Manager).
 
- Experience in management of Contractors and people management.
 
- BS7671 (18th Edition) qualified
