We are looking for a Manager for our Electrical Engineering team. You and your team will provide us with a variety of automotive electronics control units. Some will be internally designed, and some will be outsourced. You should have the ability to lead a team of electrical engineers to design and build ECUs to automotive standards as well as leading suppliers to do the same.
Experience and Skills required :
Manage a team of Electrical Engineers
Own the Electrical Engineering Design strategy and execute the design of all electrical control units under your responsibility
Work with OEM customers and partners to adapt TuSimple’s electronics to their overall vehicle system
Work with Mechanical Engineering team to package your ECUs
Work with Electrical Distribution team to design the harnesses to support your ECUs
Mentor and train junior electronics engineers
Minimum of 10 years of experience in Automotive Electronics
Previous experience managing teams
Automotive experience at an OEM or Tier 1 supplier
Experience with 12V and 24V Systems
Experience with designing and putting into production automotive electronics control units
