We are looking for a Manager for our Electrical Engineering team. You and your team will provide us with a variety of automotive electronics control units. Some will be internally designed, and some will be outsourced. You should have the ability to lead a team of electrical engineers to design and build ECUs to automotive standards as well as leading suppliers to do the same.
• Manage a team of Electrical Engineers
• Own the Electrical Engineering Design strategy and execute the design of all electrical control units under your responsibility
• Work with OEM customers and partners to adapt TuSimple’s electronics to their overall vehicle system
• Work with Mechanical Engineering team to package your ECUs
• Work with Electrical Distribution team to design the harnesses to support your ECUs
• Mentor and train junior electronics engineers
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Automotive Electronics
• Previous experience managing teams
• Automotive experience at an OEM or Tier 1 supplier
• Experience with 12V and 24V Systems
• Experience with designing and putting into production automotive electronics control units
