As eBusiness Development Manager, you will be focused on shaping and developing the eBusiness framework required to win in OOH and leading the digital transformation of our professional Sales function. We have assessed this role and it could be applicable for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route. If you do not have the right to work in the UK and you are unable to gain this independently, we may be able to provide sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route in line with the Home office guidelines.
Reporting to the E-Commerce Lead, as eBusiness Development Manager your key responsibilities will include:
Researching, identifying and categorising new and emerging ebusiness models and route to markets
Supporting the creation and implementation of eBusiness strategy across NP
Leading, creating and implementing NP Sales eBusiness capability strategy
Leading our social and digital solution selling strategy by leveraging existing digital selling tool (ie. LinkedIn) and surfacing new digital selling opportunities.
Leading and coordinating the eBusiness Team business planning process
Leading the creation and implementation of an eBusiness scorecard that helps bring visibility and monitoring of key eBusiness sales performance indicators across the NP Online sales spectrum
Full management and accountability of the Direct-to-Business sales performance
End to end Webshop responsibilities including the optimisation of operations (Back end: logistics, payments, customer data flow; front-end: customer journey, content optimisation)
Leading the implementation of Webshop analytics dashboard to optimise user journey and conversion rates
What Will Make You Successful?
You will have already demonstrated successful performance within sales and/or digital and ideally will have experience in the Foodservice/Restaurants industry.
Influencing skills are an important part of this role so you’ll be able to communicate persuasively and credibly to multiple stakeholders internally as well to customers externally. You will need to demonstrate gravitas and a proactive, entrepreneurial innovative mind-set.
Experience in a commercial role is critical. Being able to demonstrate experience and your passion for e-Commerce is an advantage
Experience in dealing with external tech companies and start up networks
Ability to analyse complex situations, leverage data into insights, 'join the dots'
Ability to build strong relationship with external stakeholders
Ability to articulate the 'bigger picture' and connect with day-to-day operations
Be comfortable dealing with ambiguity in the fast paced and rapidly changing E-Com space and be able to find and draw on insight
Strong knowledge of Brand and Category plans
Be highly curious about E-Commerce to enable the team to accelerate our E-Com capability
