DIRECTOR OF CONTENT OPERATIONS, IN KUALA LUMPUR | RELOCATE TO MALAYSIA WITH WORK VISA SPONSORSHIP

We’re looking for a dynamic and ambitious Director of Content Operations to lead our Onsite Content Writing and Content Partnership teams. In this role, you’ll work with the Product Owner of Traffic to translate the iPrice content vision and strategy into prioritised action items and developing the structure and processes that empower our Content teams to achieve results to help.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with leadership to develop iPrice onsite written content strategy spanning six countries (Malaysia/Singapore/ Philippines/Indonesia/ Thailand/ Vietnam) and four (4) languages (English/Bahasa Indonesia/Thai/Vietnamese) to educate / delight users; build brand presence; and, optimize website SEO ranking.

  • Build content department to deliver on the strategy:

    • Work with VSO to clarify required capabilities

    • Define staffing, building team leadership/capabilities through development/hiring

    • Oversee projects including (i) clarify requirements/project scope based on stakeholder input; (ii) developing clear project plans; (iii) identifying external vendors as needed; and, (iv) overseeing delivery on time / within budget

  • Lead diverse multicultural teams of 30-40 content writers and researchers to deliver on targets

  • Develop deep understanding of iPrice’s product, core values, SEO ranking factors and users to help guide content and brand voice development

  • Develop and maintain processes to develop high-quality onsite/offsite content

  • Coordinate priorities across different teams and proactively identify dependencies or issues which may put the deliverable at risk

  • Serve as a quality-control gatekeeper throughout creation and distribution process to ensure consistency with the iPrice brand / SEO guidelines

  • Active participant in iPrice leadership team, helping set overall company direction, strategy and operating approach


 
Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in content operations management or a leadership role in content operations

  • A demonstrated ability to lead multiple teams

  • Strong understanding of SEO best practices across articles, images and video

  • Ability to thrive in complex spaces where it’s your job to establish processes and develop solutions with your team

  • Self-starter with strong organizational skills who can drive content projects from start to finish

  • Outstanding written / verbal communication ability across diverse stakeholder audience

  • Confident and you easily establish relationships with coworkers

  • An eye for detail; can review and improve content created by others

  • Strong understanding of branding, tone, and voice

  • Growth mindset and continuously pursue personal growth and learning

  • Agile certification preferred
