DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS OPERATIONS | REMOTE

As an inspiring leader, you will be instrumental in making the Remote Lifecycle processes truly scalable and fully embedded in our platform. This role will work with large global teams, therefore a clear understanding of how to manage teams asynchronously will be crucial to the success of these teams. Key responsibilities

  • Directly responsible for Business Operations in Lifecycle operations at Remote

    • Own end-to-end Lifecycle Standard Operating Procedures, workflows and tools

    • Identify and prioritise the highest-impact, lowest-effort projects

    • Set quantifiable outputs and a simple execution plan for each project

    • Deliver great value to Remote's employees and clients

    • Identify KPIs, build and maintain a dashboard

    • Hire, coach & nurture the Lifecycle Program Management team across the globe

  • Closely collaborate with:

    • Product to prioritise features to be developed on Remote's platform

    • Automation to identify process improvement low-hanging fruits

    • Other Operations verticals to maximise cross-vertical synergies

    • All Remote's functions to maximise coordination and minimise blockers

  • Stay up-to-date with international HR policies and HR labor laws

  • Be able to go from “scout to scale” and actually start things up

  • Be an internal and external champion of Remote's values and Lifecycle team's goals

Requirements

  • You have 10+ years' experience working in business operations, ideally with some experience with HR processes and systems

  • You have a strong operational, process re-engineering experience across multiple roles

  • You have knowledge of tools for workflow management, project management and Ticketing systems

  • Hands-on people management experience

  • You have a customer-oriented approach, with a pragmatic personality

  • You are passionate about accomplishing goals and ensuring quality

  • You are passionate about team-work and developing people

  • You are able to quickly adapt to a fast-paced, international, scale-up environment

  • You speak fluent written and spoken English.

Actual compensation may vary based upon geographical location, experience, and/or skill level. However, it will never be below our minimum global compensation mentioned.
