We are looking for a DevOps infrastructure engineer who will implement and maintain monitoring and logging systems for insights and proactive incident response, introduce and promote new technologies that improve security and efficiency across the organization, and deploy new services using infrastructure as code. There is sponsorship for visas.
Architecture, design, deployment, and lifecycle management of cloud-based services at Mujin
Bridging the gap between development teams and infrastructure teams, facilitating consultation and communication on various projects and requests
Analyzing and improving Mujin's CI/CD pipeline
Designing, deploying, and managing Mujin's Kubernetes instances
Deploying microservices and implementing GitOps workflows
Managing the lifecycle of services, including deployment, maintenance, backup, recovery, scaling, and security hardening
Implementing defense-in-depth strategies to secure Mujin's source code
Introducing and promoting new technologies that enhance security and efficiency across the company
Implementing and maintaining monitoring and logging systems for insights and proactive incident response
Providing technical support and incident response to the development teams
Deploying new services using Infrastructure as Code.
A curious and eagerness to learn new things
Proficiency in Linux operating systems
Experience with deploying services using "Infrastructure as Code" tools such as Puppet, Ansible, Chef
Experience with design, deployment, and lifecycle management of production Kubernetes instances
Experience with deploying and scaling Micro Services using tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with establishing a CI/CD pipeline using tools such as TeamCity, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Circle CI, etc.
Experience with web servers such as Apache, Nginx, and Caddy
Experience in at least on programming language (Python, Rust, Go, etc)
Understanding of fundamental protocols and services such as LDAP, SAML, TLS, PKI, and DNS.
Conceptual knowledge of virtualization technologies like KVM and VMware, as well as storage technologies such as S3, Ceph, and Gluster
Business-level English
In a small team with broad responsibilities, ability to make decisions and implement new technologies, the reporting line is in Japan and currently no time zone crossing.
