A Data Product Manager is now being sought after to join our Business Intelligence team in our Munich location. You will join the expert team, which is expanding quickly and is made up of editors, key account managers, web marketers, and IT enthusiasts. You will have the chance to work on global initiatives where we value your ideas and give you the chance to be a change agent. We offer visa support.
Be part of strategy planning and OKR setting and define goals that aligns with the broader organizational vision including both short- and long-term strategies.
Act as a domain expert to oversee your data products from end-to-end and understand how data is (or is not) used within our organization on your domain.
Gather requirements from internal and external stakeholders, prioritize them and define the product roadmap, release plans and ship the corresponding tasks in time and with quality in an agile environment.
Have a close alignment with your stakeholders and make sure they are up-to-date about the progress of the projects and their requirements.
Work on a daily basis with your tech team that consists of experienced data engineers and analysts and be the bridge between them and your stakeholders to build best solutions for our business.
Conduct agile ceremonies from the discovery to delivery phase together with your squad.
Be in close alignment with other data product managers within the Data Organization to update about the changes on the services and the data structure that can impact them.
Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience in technical product management and a proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
Good technical background (big data) with understanding and/or hands-on experience in data product development
Excellent communication skills to communicate with stakeholders/other teams
Strong decision making and prioritization capabilities
Good understanding of Big Data processing is a big plus
Experience in B2B products, preferably in an international start-up environment
Strong problem solving skills, an entrepreneurial mindset, a “get-things-done” attitude and capability to translate business requirements into actionable initiatives
Experience in working on an Agile development process
Experience in SEO and Affiliate Marketing or Finance is a big plus
Fluency in written and spoken English
