What you’ll be doing

  • Participate in all aspects of agile software development including design, implementation, and deployment of Crossing Minds applications within the largest online platforms, as well as integrations with the largest customer data platforms

  • Architect and provide guidance on building end-to-end data-heavy systems optimized for latency, scalability, and availability

  • Develop new features and web infrastructures in support of rapidly growing business and project requirements

  • Assume leadership of new projects from conceptualization to deployment

  • Leverage cutting-edge technologies like serverless computing and modern databases technologies to deliver and iterate rapidly while preserving scalability and availability

  • Work primarily in Python and NodeJS, deployed with AWS and GCP

What you should have

  • 1+ years of technical leadership experience (early-stage startup preferred)

  • 4+ years of Data Engineering experience, including data streams, data warehouse, ETL (Python preferred)

  • Proven experience in building cloud applications using HTTP APIs and webhooks

  • Good understanding of networking protocols, fully managed databases (relation and analytical), and server-less technologies

  • Good understanding of internet security and privacy mechanisms

  • Excellent debugging and optimization skills

  • Unit/integration testing experience.

  • You have a specific interest in machine learning and recommendation systems
