In order to promote self-service and efficiency in data processing, we are searching for a data engineer to assist in the development of tools and pipelines. We provide complete visa sponsorship; the employment is headquartered in Berlin and requires little more than a couple of days in the office. To help the rest of the firm work with the best data available, your work will center on developing scalable data infrastructure, self-service data tooling, and safe data governance.

Participate in the process of designing and deciding on the data architecture
Establish team-wide standards for documentation, monitoring & alerting, code quality, unit testing, CI & CD
2+ years experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar position
Strong SQL skills
Proven track record of working with Python for Data Engineering around Data Ingestion and Data Quality.
Knowledge about the current data engineering tools on the market
Experience working in cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud, AWS or Azure)
Excitement to work cross-functionally with different specialisms
The team involves interacting with teams across different domains (banking, analytics, engineering) every day, so you'll need to have solid communication skills.
Airflow, Docker, Kubernetes
Knowledge and experience of Data quality and monitoring best practices
Knowledge of Data Science processes
