We’re looking for a talented, conceptual and driven creative copywriter to join our award-winning Experience team at Hallam. Working closely with other creatives and experts from around the agency, you’ll be spearheading the conception and application of the tone and messaging elements of advertising campaigns, brand concepts, landing pages and other creative work.
Reporting to the Experience Director and the Head of Design, you’ll also be a central point of reference for the written output of the agency’s work, helping to set, drive and maintain the highest standards of written work across all formats and channels.

Exceptional creativity and an ability to produce innovative and original ideas both on your own and with others
Someone who can craft ideas in a way that resonates with any audience, precisely and persuasively
Ability to present work effectively and gain buy-in from peers and clients
The ability to work collaboratively with other team members from across the agency across multiple departments
The ability to dissect, interpret and improve creative briefs
Experience creating brands' tone of voice guidelines
Being adaptable to the changes that come from a fast-paced environment
Commercial awareness of both creative projects and what is best for a client
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Administrative and organisational skills
IT proficiency (Mac, GSuite, Slack, etc)
Proofreading and QC
Outstanding attention to detail
Realising creative concepts across ad campaigns covering multiple channels (social media, web, print, video, audio etc)
Working with clients in workshops to identify their company’s tone of voice to inform all future work for them
The creation of slogans and other positioning messages to heighten engagement and awareness of client’s brands
Creating compelling microcopy for landing pages and sales funnels
Working with content teams to create high converting email campaigns
Present concepts and demonstrate underlying strategic thinking
Manage smaller copy briefs with feedback and sign off to more junior members of the team or freelancers
Researching clients, their competitors and the target audience
Working directly with clients and colleagues, and meeting project teams to consider copy requirements for ads, brand, campaigns and other creative work
Supporting junior staff and freelancers as required
Writing reports, outcomes and retrospectives for continuous improvement
