We have a fantastic permanent job vacancy available for a Content Planning Specialist with fluent Arabic language skills, to join a major global entertainment & sports broadcaster based in the Middle East, as part of a brand new OTT streaming platform launch.
As the Content Planning Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating content across the MENA region. You will be working collaboratively with various departments such as acquisitions and marketing to manage the content lifecycle from planning to release.
Your responsibilities will be to manage the tracking and reporting of content across its territories for release dates for its original, newly acquired and library content and includes tracking current content streaming activities. You will conduct daily analysis on rights licencing, localisation (subbed/ dubbed) and asset readiness. You must be commercially aware of latest trends for your target market and support summary presentations for senior management.
As a Specialist, our client is looking for someone who can work collaboratively and is a result driven team member who possess strong writing skills. Excellent communications, interpersonal and problem-solving skills are required with the ability to work in a team across a matrix organisation.
Candidates must be open to full relocation to the Middle East and have demonstrable experience in a content strategy environment ideally for a subscription based business within the broadcast media, OTT streaming, entertainment, or sports content industry.
To be considered for this role you must have strong strategic and operational skills and have a positive attitude. Excellent communication and analytical skills will be vital. Fluent (business-level) English and Arabic language skills are essential.
