Whether writing transparent and fair Community Guidelines, maintaining a high level of content quality or mitigating fraud and abusive behaviours, the Trust and Safety team is proud of helping enhance the users experience and building internet safety. We are looking for a Content Integrity Specialist to serve a critical role as part of our Trust and Safety team. This role will require the candidate to develop a deeper understanding of how bad actors behave in order to identify patterns or trends and mitigate their actions. You will be responsible for maintaining the quality and policy adherence of content on wallapop. This is a unique opportunity to become an essential part of our Trust and Safety team, ensuring that our policies are being respected and our users are protected from forbidden content and bad actors.
 

What You Will Do

  • Keep wallapop free from bad actors and forbidden content by updating the current automatic moderation filters and creating new ones

  • Control the moderation accuracy according to the policy of the platform by analysing users complaints

  • Analyse reports from users to feed the automatic moderation filters

  • Ensure a good relationship with brands and public authorities by analysing their requests and responding in accordance with applicable law and our terms of service

What We’re Looking For

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills in Spanish, English and Portuguese

  • An independent thinker, able to work autonomously, capable of translating complex thinking into practical application

  • Have a track record that demonstrates your ability to perform multiple tasks while having a keen eye for detail

  • Have a background in either customer research/service

  • Highly organised, and with excellent attention to detail

  • Good analytical, logic and reasoning skills

  • Strong investigative ability

  • Strong desire to build a career in the fraud industry

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred, however not essential

  • Basic knowledge of Propositional Logic and Pattern Matching (Regular expressions - REGEX) a plus

Do note that all our jobs are Barcelona based. We work in a mostly remote capacity offering great flexibility to our employees, but we believe in the power of getting together regularly in our office. As a first iteration, we expect a 4+ day/month office attendance for which the specifics are decided on a team level.

What does the hiring process look like? **Please, note that all interviews take place remotely over hangouts.**

Intro Call - run by talent acquisition. It will take 30-45 minutes and will focus on giving you more information about the role and the company as well as going over your experience and expectations.

Test Stage - you will be assigned a take-home challenge, which is aimed at assessing your technical skills required for the role.

Expertise interview - run by the hiring team, focusing on hard-skills and domain knowledge required for the role. This usually takes 60 minutes.

Competency Interview - run by talent acquisition and/or hiring manager. We will focus on gaining insights and understanding of how you operate in the workplace and your fit to our values. This usually takes 60 minutes.

Offer - should you be the right candidate, your offer will be discussed over a call with talent acquisition and will then be confirmed in writing.
