For our Group's Compliance division in Limassol, Cyprus, we are currently hiring a full-time Compliance Officer. The Compliance Officer will be assisting the Group's efforts to maintain compliance while directly answering to the Deputy Head of Compliance.
Review and approve communications addressed to the public, including but not limited to, marketing materials, emails, reports, scripts, factsheets, website content, social media and others;
Engage with relevant business units in order to ensure critical and timely review of communications;
Provide advice, assistance and training to relevant people in relation to marketing compliance processes;
Implement and develop various aspects of the global compliance monitoring program relevant to sales, distribution, marketing, advertising and communications;
Develop policies, procedures and guidelines to support the production of compliant communications and marketing materials;
Review partners’ content in order to assess compliance with internal standards and take appropriate actions in case of non-compliance;
Review third-party monitoring tools with the goal of automation of certain processes;
Review call monitoring activities, highlight issues and report on weaknesses;
Perform improvements to strengthen the compliance environment in relation to marketing and advertising activities;
Audit existing processes, identify weaknesses and suggest corrective actions;
Keep abreast of internal procedures and global CFDs and RegTech regulatory developments;
Address employees questions and advice on related matters;
Perform any other assigned compliance-related tasks;
University degree;
3+ years experience within the CFDs/Forex industry working in a similar role;
Relevant professional certification is a plus (CySEC certifications, CISI or related);
Excellent communication (verbal and non verbal), business acumen, organizational, presentation and problem-solving skills;
Fluent in English language (verbal & written), any additional language may be considered a plus;
Able to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
Able to work on own initiative, independently, prioritize workload and pay attention to details;
