COMPLIANCE OFFICER IN LIMASSOL | RELOCATE TO CYPRUS WITH WORK VISA SPONSORSHIP

For our Group's Compliance division in Limassol, Cyprus, we are currently hiring a full-time Compliance Officer. The Compliance Officer will be assisting the Group's efforts to maintain compliance while directly answering to the Deputy Head of Compliance.

You will:

  • Review and approve communications addressed to the public, including but not limited to, marketing materials, emails, reports, scripts, factsheets, website content, social media and others;

  • Engage with relevant business units in order to ensure critical and timely review of communications;

  • Provide advice, assistance and training to relevant people in relation to marketing compliance processes;

  • Implement and develop various aspects of the global compliance monitoring program relevant to sales, distribution, marketing, advertising and communications;

  • Develop policies, procedures and guidelines to support the production of compliant communications and marketing materials;

  • Review partners’ content in order to assess compliance with internal standards and take appropriate actions in case of non-compliance;

  • Review third-party monitoring tools with the goal of automation of certain processes;

  • Review call monitoring activities, highlight issues and report on weaknesses;

  • Perform improvements to strengthen the compliance environment in relation to marketing and advertising activities;

  • Audit existing processes, identify weaknesses and suggest corrective actions;

  • Keep abreast of internal procedures and global CFDs and RegTech regulatory developments;

  • Address employees questions and advice on related matters;

  • Perform any other assigned compliance-related tasks;

The ideal candidate:

  • University degree;

  • 3+ years experience within the CFDs/Forex industry working in a similar role;

  • Relevant professional certification is a plus (CySEC certifications, CISI or related);

  • Excellent communication (verbal and non verbal), business acumen, organizational, presentation and problem-solving skills;

  • Fluent in English language (verbal & written), any additional language may be considered a plus;

  • Able to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines;

  • Able to work on own initiative, independently, prioritize workload and pay attention to details;
