Our Client is looking for Commercial Kitchen Cleaners who will be responsible for ensuring that the kitchen and surrounding areas are kept clean and always sanitized. The Cleaner will be responsible for cleaning equipment, surfaces, floors, and all other areas within the kitchen in accordance with the standards set by the company.
Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize all surfaces within the kitchen, including countertops, floors, walls, and equipment.
Remove trash and dispose of it properly.
Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, fryers, and refrigerators.
Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
Restock cleaning supplies and notify the supervisor when supplies are running low.
Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures.
Ensure that cleaning chemicals are properly labeled and stored.
Adhere to all safety guidelines and standards while performing cleaning duties.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
Assist with other kitchen duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
Prior experience in commercial kitchen cleaning is preferred.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and handling
Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, pressure washers, and vacuum cleaners.
Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment and supplies.
Attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning procedures accurately.
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
CLB 4 in English is Required
Flexibility to work during non-business hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time.
Ability to lift to 50 pounds.
Ability to work in hot and cold environments.
