CHIEF OF STAFF | REMOTE

With this shift comes an opportunity for our directors to focus more on future opportunities, while our domain leaders overtake more ownership for the day-to-day. To help make this shift successful, we are looking for a talented generalist who can who can help our leadership to unlock our human and executive potential for the better. As Chief of Staff, you will partner with the CEO on the strategic and operational activities of building a mission-focused and high-performing collective during a period of meaningful growth. You will play a critical role in developing, prioritizing, and executing company objectives, as well as communicating them with internal and external stakeholders including but not limited to shareholders, executives, team members, potential team members, customers and partners. You would seamlessly master various tools and systems such as G-Suite, Slack, Notion, and others to accomplish an array of tasks. You would “stay on top of the game” as a proactive resource to both our leadership team and wider collective.

80%: Key responsibilities:
 

  1. Empower our CEO and leadership team

  • Support the CEO on internal commitments, while helping keep the rest of our leadership team accountable for results;

  • Keep the CEO accessible & open to new ideas and proposals;

  • Work with our CEO and leadership team to keep track of our quarterly OKRs and identify opportunities to help us deliver a “wow” experience to our partners and ourselves - and take ownership of key quarterly initiatives from start to finish in collaboration with relevant teams;

  • Support our CEO in investor relations and other external communications, including quarterly reports, presentations, and events as needed;

  • Plan events such as team-wide strategy discussions, off-sites, and company kick-offs as needed;

  1. Unlock internal excellence in our collective

  • Prepare for and run key weekly & monthly meetings: ex. company all-hands, leadership team syncs, retrospectives, etc.;

  • Take our internal communications to the next level by ensuring upcoming meetings are relevant, well-structured, and that the preparation is complete and compelling;

  • Keep track of action points from leadership meetings and support their implementation alongside accountability owners;

Qualifications:
 
What we’re looking for:
 

  • 3+ years of experience in consulting, finance, operations, sales or staff management, ideally in a fast-paced, intellectually-challenging environment;

  • Proven ability to quickly learn new things;

  • Highly collaborative with excellent verbal, written, English communication and interpersonal skills;

  • Excellent attention to details, capable of running efficient and well-prepared meetings;

  • Ability to drive internal initiatives with minimal support and build influential relationships, within the team;

  • Willingness to get your hands dirty, lead by example, and motivate teams through both in-person and remote management;

  • Proactive profile who is able to deal with ambiguity, prioritize own work and resources, and juggle multiple tasks in a manner transparent to the team, and work independently to achieve results with a high degree of accuracy.

  • Professional proficiency in additional languages like French, Germ and Tunisian Arabic.
