You will join our team as a Team Leader, supervising support staff to assist people who are living in their own homes. You will need to have experience working as a manager in the care sector
Experienced working with people with Mental health, Autism, challenging behaviours and Learning Disabilities
Ability and experience in supporting, motivating and developing staff, including undertaking monthly supervisions, annual appraisals, leading team meetings and doing inductions.
Leading by example on the floor and responding to incidents
Being computer literate
Knowledge and good understanding of current CQC/sector regulations and legislation
Must be flexible with shifts to meet the needs of the service
Strong values and person-centred approach
Individuals who are enthusiastic, resilient, energetic, and proactive
Resilience and drive to overcome challenge
Be prepared to work with people who present with challenging behaviour and in some cases risky behaviours
Be committed to personal and professional development
Have, or be prepared to complete, a Level 5 diploma in Health & Social Care
Fully paid 2-week induction and clinical training
PMVA training
Fully paid DBS check to start employment, you will then be required to sign up to the DBS Update Service and maintain an annual subscription (at a minimal cost of £13 per year)
