Being a Business Development Representative (BDR) puts you in the lead of our go-to-market plan. To do this, you must find leads, map out business accounts, and create demand for our goods. For those seeking to advance their sales careers, this position is perfect for developing enterprise technology sales skills. Successful BDRs take a professional development route and receive accelerated commissions. You will collaborate directly with our Head of Business Development and get a firsthand look at how successful sales organizations operate. $70k-$100k ($50k-$70k basic with a variable component) in addition to uncapped commission is the salary range for this position. Compensation is based on expertise and geographic location.
Find companies that match our criteria as potential customers
Determine relevant contacts at those companies for us to reach out to
Send personalized emails to relevant contacts based on doing research
Work closely with our Head of Business Development to schedule meetings
Occasionally run initial qualification calls for smaller accounts
Working strategically with Marketing to qualify inbound sourced leads & AEs on breaking into top tier accounts
Taking on additional operational projects/GTM strategy initiatives
You have at least 2 years of experience as a business development representative
Prior startup experience
High level of interest in healthcare
Comfortable in a face-paced environment
Desire to be in a goal-oriented, quota-carrying role
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
